Welcome Week

We are glad you’ve chosen to pursue your education at Vanguard. There are so many exciting things awaiting you as you begin this new chapter and we can't wait to have you join us!
Welcome Week is an in-person orientation for all new students! So please be sure to clear your calendar and plan to attend all Welcome Week activities.
Throughout the four days, there are activities, sessions, and events all geared towards connecting you to other students, familiarizing you with the campus, and giving you glimpses into student life. You will be introduced to faculty, staff, and students who are here to support you and help you find belonging.
As a part of your orientation experience, all incoming students will be placed into Frontline Groups, which are led by returning Vanguard students. Each group will have 2 leaders and approximately 20-25 new students. Your Frontline Group peers will be some of your first friends here on campus, and your leaders are there to connect with you and help you learn about life as a Vanguard Lion!
