Once you have determined the chapter you qualify for, it’s time to apply.

Yellow Ribbon Program

The Yellow Ribbon Program is a provision of the Chapter 33 Post 9/11 Veterans Education Assistance Act of 2008. The program provides for an agreement between Vanguard University and the Veterans Affairs Administration (VA) to award scholarships to qualified students to fund tuition and course related fees that exceed benefits available under the Post 9/11 GI Bill®. Under the agreement the VA will match Vanguard University’s scholarship contribution.

MyCAA Military Spouse Career Advancement Accounts

Vanguard University is proud to announce that eligible spouses may use their MyCAA assistance for the following program:


Vanguard University students are eligible to participate in the MyCAA program. The Military Spouse Career Advancement Accounts (MyCAA) program provides up to $4,000 (over 2 years) of financial assistance for military spouses who are pursuing degree programs, licenses or credentials leading to employment in portable career fields.
