Veteran Services
Who We Are
Veterans Services at Vanguard University exists to engage student veterans and military-connected students in the pursuit of academic and personal success. Vanguard University is deeply committed to supporting our veteran community as they navigate campus life and work toward their educational goals.
Our Vision
We believe that learning happens best in the context of a relationship. We are dedicated to creating a culture of connection—one that encourages meaningful relationships, shared experiences, and mutual support. Staffed by veterans and dependents who share similar journeys, the VRC provides peer advising and mentoring to help new students transition to Vanguard with confidence. Our team represents every area of the university, from Traditional Undergraduate and Professional Studies to Graduate Education.
We also invite you to join the Vanguard Veteran Club, which connects veteran and military-connected students to the broader campus community. The club provides opportunities for social connection and community service, enriching both the Vanguard experience and the larger Orange County community.

“
Running my own business has definitely taught me things that cannot be taught in school. Prior to my business career, I was in the Marine Corps, and learned a totally different skill set. With the different experiences in life that I have encountered, it is refreshing to find a school/ program where I can use all my experiences.
