We collaborate with the campus community to develop preparedness plans, provide training, and uphold university policies. Resources Available

Emergencies that pose an immediate threat to persons or property should be reported to the Costa Mesa Police Department at 911.

Our office is here to support students during difficult or emergency situations. We offer outreach, advocacy, intervention, support, and referrals to relevant campus and community resources, ensuring you are not alone during challenging times.

 

Emergency situations we respond to include but are not limited to:

  • Natural disasters such as fires, floods, and severe weather
  • Academic disruptions caused by crises or emergencies
  • Medical or mental health emergencies in partnership with Student Care Team.
  • Interpersonal violence (stalking, harassment, physical and/or sexual assault): For confidential support, please refer to the Title IX Office website.
  • Missing students
  • Student deaths (current or former)
