Sandra Morgan wants women to be leaders at universities — even if it means she has to travel across the globe to help them achieve it.
Global Center for Women & Justice
Welcome to the Global Center for Women and Justice. This is the space where we study the issues, so we can be a voice and make a difference on issues that marginalize women, children, and families. Many people are horrified to see abuse and human trafficking and often jump right in to do something. However, it is important to study first to be sure what we say and what we do are the best ways to help. We do not want to become part of the problem. This is also a space for men to join the conversation. Violence against women is not a women’s issues, it’s our issue, men and women together. Human trafficking and sexual exploitation happens to
boys and men.
In 2014, United Nations Secretary General Ban Ki-moon said, “Countries with more equality have better economic growth. Companies with more women leaders perform better. Peace agreements that include women are more durable. Parliaments enact more legislation on key social issues such as health, education, anti-discrimination and child support. The evidence is clear: Equality for women means progress for all.”
Join us. Study the issues. Be a voice. Make a difference.

I just turned a blind eye, but now I am confronting these issues, and I love it!
Since I’ve started taking Women’s Studies, I have exposed to issues that I didn’t know were there or that I just didn’t want to see, like trafficking. I appreciate the tools that I am being equipped with and sharing it with others. I definitely recommend students to take Women’s Studies, especially males. It opens your eyes to what is out there, and for Christians in general, we should know more about what is happening to others, especially about women and others out of the country.
