Dr. Park earned his doctorate in Computer Science from Oklahoma State University, Oklahoma, and his master's in Statistics from Seoul National University, Seoul, Korea. 

Prior to joining Vanguard University, he spent 13 years as an associate professor teaching computer/data science at Oklahoma City University, OK. Before entering academia, he worked in marketing research for 6 years as an associate director/statistician at the Nielsen Company, one of global leaders in marketing and media research. He also serves as a reviewer of the journal ‘Microprocessors and Microsystems’-Elsevier.  

He currently represents the Korean American University Professors Association (KAUPA) as an ambassador. 

Sarah developed her love of mathematics early on, deciding at the age of seven to become a math teacher.  She attended Costa Mesa High School, where her love of the subject grew until heading off to college to become a pure math major. Sarah earned her Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from UC Irvine in 2004 and went on to earn her master's in mathematics from Cal State Fullerton in 2009.

Sarah began teaching at Vanguard University in the fall of 2012. She enjoys the energetic students and supportive faculty of Vanguard and deepening her walk with Christ alongside the spirit-filled community. 

Dr. James Lee is an Associate Professor and Distinguished Industry Scholar in Engineering, bringing over 30 years of expertise in aerospace engineering and applied physics. His specialization centers on applied electromagnetics and systems engineering, driven by a dual dedication to advancing aerospace technology and inspiring the next generation of engineers through education. 

Throughout his career, Dr. Lee has made significant contributions to the field, authoring numerous peer-reviewed journal articles, conference papers, and book chapters. His professional excellence is recognized by his election as a Senior Member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE). 

Dr. Lee’s distinguished tenure at Boeing Company includes key leadership roles such as Associate Technical Fellow, Boeing Designated Expert, Authorized Representative for the Federal Aviation Administration, Design Approval Engineer, and Repair Assessment Engineer. 

Beyond his technical achievements, Dr. Lee is deeply passionate about mentoring students, nurturing not only their scientific and engineering talents but also their spiritual growth, fostering faith and a deeper understanding of the Lord.
