Statement of Understanding

I am 100% eligible for the Post-9/11 GI Bill based on my Certificate of Eligibility. I understand that the Department of Veterans Affairs formally establishes eligibility for the Post-9/11 GI Bill's Yellow Ribbon Program and that Vanguard University cannot override any decisions made by the Department of Veterans Affairs.
I have applied to and been admitted by my chosen Vanguard program.
I understand the deadline for submission of this application is the last day of the term for which funds are to be applied, i.e., there will be no retroactive Yellow Ribbon funds awarded after the term ends.
I understand that Vanguard will terminate my participation in the Yellow Ribbon Program if I am not in good academic standing. The information I supplied on this form is true and correct to the best of my knowledge.
I understand that any changes to my course schedule can result in changes to my VA Education Benefits and Yellow Ribbon funding. I agree to alert the Veterans Center of ALL course changes.
I understand that choosing to participate in the Yellow Ribbon Program disqualifies me for institutional financial aid per academic year. I understand that consulting a financial aid counselor prior to my enrollment certification is strongly recommended.
