During STEP into VU, you’ll:
- Get Connected – Meet classmates, faculty, and staff who are excited to know you by name and cheer you on.
- Get Ready – Learn the ins and outs of campus life, from classes and chapel to making the most of your first semester.
- Get Grounded – Discover what it means to be part of a Spirit-empowered community committed to purpose, growth, and service.

STEP into VU is free and required for all new students — freshmen and transfers alike. Whether you’re coming from across the street or across the world, this is where your Vanguard story begins. Click on a date to register for one of the Friday sessions. Virtual STEP Into VU is available upon request for students living more than 400 miles from campus.
STEP into VU: Virtual Welcome
Step Into VU: Virtual Welcome is designed for students who live more than 400 miles from Vanguard University and are unable to attend an in-person session.
Students participating in Virtual Welcome must attend one virtual Step Into VU session—June 3, July 1, August 1—before scheduling a virtual advising appointment with their Student Success Coordinator (advisor).
Virtual advising begins Wednesday, June 3, and continues throughout the summer. Please remember that attending one mandatory Wednesday virtual session is required to complete your registration process.

| 12:30 - 1:35 pm | Admissions and Financial Aid Breakout Sessions: Learn more about the financial aid and college decision processes. |
| 1:40 - 2:10 pm | Student and Campus Resource Panels: Hear firsthand what life is like at VU and learn more about Vanguard's student resources. |
| 2:10 - 3:10 pm | Campus Tour |
| 3:10 - 5:00 pm | Optional Application Lab: Counselors will be available to ask questions and help with next steps. |
