GEO Week, hosted by the Office of Global Education & Outreach (GEO), is a series of events designed to help you learn and engage with Vanguard's study and service programs.

GEO Week Schedule

Monday, October 5

10 a.m.–1 p.m.: GEO Week Kickoff with a Camel | Heath Lawn
- Stop by to learn more about the GEO office, ways to engage, how to raise funds, and answers to all of your questions about our study + service opportunities.
- Free photos and rides with Nadia the camel–yes, a real camel!
6:30–7:30 p.m.: GEO Stories | Towers Lobby
- Come hear stories and be inspired by students who went on GEO trips last year!

Tuesday, October 6

9:30–10:20 a.m.: GEO Chapel | Seymour Sanctuary
- Join us for worship and hear from an Operation Christmas Child spokesperson about how a simple shoebox can make a lasting impact around the world. Come learn how you can be part of it!
11 a.m.–1:30 p.m.: Study Abroad Fair | Needham Courtyard
- Curious about studying abroad? Come meet study abroad organizations and discover opportunities ranging from a few weeks in the summer to a full semester overseas. Your next adventure could start here!

Wednesday, October 7

10–10:50 a.m.: GEO Chapel | Seymour Sanctuary
- Join us for worship and a message from College Corps Director Shelley Youd on what it means to live a life committed to serving others. Come be challenged to put your faith into action.
11 a.m.–1:30 p.m.: Navigate Local | Needham Courtyard
- Put your faith into action and serve alongside your GEO community! Join us for a hands-on service project as we live out what it means to love our neighbors and serve together.
- Chat with local organizations to learn more about ways to serve the community.
9–10 p.m.: Shine | Seymour Sanctuary
10–11 p.m.: Taste Around the World | Seymour Sanctuary
- Following Shine, grab a treat and meet this summer’s GEO team leaders! Hear about the upcoming trips, ask questions, and get a taste of where GEO could take you next.

Thursday, October 8

9:30–10:30 a.m.: GEO Chapel: Men on Mission | Seymour Sanctuary
- Hear from a passionate panel of men who are living out their faith through service, leadership, and mission. Come be challenged, encouraged, and mobilized to live on mission wherever God leads.
10 a.m.–2 p.m.: Application Station | Needham Courtyard
- Ready to take a step towards a global study or service opportunity? Apply today! We will have computers set up with the applications, and our GEO team will be there to answer any of your questions.
