GEO Week, hosted by the Office of Global Education & Outreach (GEO), is a series of events designed to help you learn and engage with Vanguard's study and service programs.

Monday, October 6

Tuesday, October 7

9:30 a.m.: GEO Chapel, Seymour
- Worship and message about our university's legacy and commitment to service from our Provost, Ryan Hartwig.
11 a.m.-1:30 p.m.: Local Navigate, Needham Courtyard
- Interested in local service opportunities? Chat with local organizations, non-profits, and ministries to learn more about ways to get plugged in and sent out into our community.
11 a.m.-1 p.m.: GEO Week To Go, Commuter Lounge
- Commuters: pick up a "GEO Week To Go" lunch in the Commuter Lounge on your way to class, or head to the Needham Courtyard for Local Navigate.

11 a.m.-3 p.m.: GEO 101, Needham Courtyard
- Stop by to learn more about the GEO office, ways to engage, how to raise funds, and answers all of your questions about our study + service opportunities.

Wednesday, October 8

10 a.m.: GEO Chapel, Seymour
- Worship and message about global outreach from Brooke Mandagie.
11 a.m.-1:30 p.m.: Navigate Global, Needham Courtyard
- Interested in study or service opportunities? Chat with global organizations, missionaries, and study abroad programs to learn more about ways to get plugged in and sent out globally.
11 a.m.-1:30 p.m.: Navigate with Nadia, Heath Lawn
- Free photos and rides with Nadia the camel–yes, a real camel!

11 a.m.-3 p.m.: GEO 101, Needham Courtyard
- Stop by to learn more about the GEO office, ways to engage, how to raise funds, and answers all of your questions.
5:30-6:30 p.m.: Virtual Info Sessions, Zoom
- Want to learn more about our upcoming study and service trips? Join our virtual info session using this link.
7-8 p.m.: Info Sessions, Heath Classrooms
- Want to learn more about our upcoming outreach trips? We'll have rotating info sessions with each trip leader, so you can jump from one to the next to learn the unique heart behind each global outreach opportunity.
9:30 p.m.: Shine, Seymour Sanctuary

Thursday, October 9

9:30-10:30 a.m.: GEO Chapel, Seymour Sanctuary
- Hear from students who participated in last year's study + service programs.
11 a.m.-1 p.m.: Application Station, Needham Courtyard
- Ready to take a step towards a global study or service opportunity? Apply today! We will have computers set up with the applications, and our GEO team will be there to answer any of your questions.
11 a.m.-3 p.m.: GEO 101, Needham Courtyard
- Stop by to learn more about the GEO office, ways to engage, how to raise funds, and answers all of your questions.
3-5 p.m.: GEO World Cup, Campus Mall
- Multiple lawn game tournaments will be set up on the campus mall. Pick your sport, build your team, play for prizes!
