The Department of Liberal Studies currently offers a minor in Elementary Education.

Minor in Elementary Education

The Elementary Education minor will provide you with a foundation of course work in child development and core education theories to become knowledgeable in the field of education. Completing the minor will expand your portfolio demonstrating that you can teach to a broad range of learners.  

The minor consists of 21 units of coursework in the Liberal Studies Department that focuses on important educational topics, such as technology in the classroom, students with special needs, and multicultural education. 12 units must be completed at Vanguard University.
