Synecdoche
Synecdoche (n): A figure of speech in which a part is made to represent the whole.
Synecdoche is the literary journal of Vanguard University. Produced and published by each year’s graduating, it is now in its 18th year. An entirely student-run publication, the journal is comprised of student publications, including creative works: short stories, poetry, stage plays, and creative nonfiction; scholarly works; and photography and artwork.
