Begin Your Career in Health Professions with a Degree in Biology and a Concentration in Biomedical Science

The BS in Biology with a concentration in Biomedical Science is designed to help you qualify for admission to medical and other health professional schools. The degree will prepare you for success in professional health care programs (e.g., medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine, pharmacy), allied health programs (e.g., physician assistant, nursing, physical therapy, occupational therapy), biomedical science graduate programs, and careers in biomedical research and academic or commercial laboratories.

Focused Curriculum

You will engage in experiential learning with curriculum that meets the requirements for entrance into professional and graduate programs in the medical field.
