Our online degree is designed for you

Our online master’s in clinical psychology program is available for residents of the state of California and is approved by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences to meet the educational requirements for licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist and Professional Clinical Counselor in the state of California. Most courses are eight weeks long; we offer full- and part-time options with varying degree lengths, as well as evening-only and on campus tracks.

The online clinical psychology program will also support and assist you in securing a practicum placement that meets your needs, such as approving new sites near your home or with one of our more than 60 practicum partners in Southern California.

You can complete practicum placements at sites such as college counseling centers, substance abuse treatment centers and community counseling centers. Students in Orange County have the opportunity to complete their practicum placement with the Journeys at Vanguard counseling center located at our Santa Ana campus.
