Vanguard University

This is Mary. She is currently a Professor and Director of the Nursing Department.

Growing up with a passion for swimming and a lover of the beach, Mary completed her undergraduate at Mount Saint Mary's University and commissioned as an officer in the Navy upon graduating, who would later retire as a Captain after 21 years of service. Mary was stationed at Port Hueneme where she got to experience the fruitfulness and her joy in being able help with patient care. After transitioning as a reserve officer, Mary continued her education at UCLA where she completed her master’s and doctoral degree.

When not on the job,  Mary enjoys spending time with her four daughters, grandkids, poodle mix dog named Oreo and serving in the health care ministry at Saddleback Church. We are very thankful for Mary and her contribution to Vanguard University.
