VU Master of Science in Nursing Alumni, Danika Degroot, published her thesis research in the Journal of Emergency Nursing along with her advisor, Dr. Annette Callis, Director of Graduate Nursing. This study provides meaningful evidence that role delineation in patient arrest situations increased effectiveness in nurse teamwork and therefore has the potential to improve patient care outcomes if implemented as a practice standard.
