2019 CHOC Walk

Find your sneakers and get ready to take a stroll to help support families who are going through the most difficult time in their lives. Vanguard University has created a team for the CHOC Walk under Justin's Helpers.

Justin was born via emergency c-section and has Lissencephaly Arx. He was born without a corpus callosum which connects the two hemispheres in the brain. His parents, Tricia and Colby Helper, were able to transfer their son to CHOC where he would receive further medical attention.

In 2018, Justin Helper was announced as the CHOC Walk Ambassador and had 863 walkers participate at the Park of Disneyland Resort raising $103,500 for Childrens Hospital of Orange County.

This year, Vanguard University is proud to participate and contribute in the fundraising efforts of the CHOC Walk on Sunday August 11, 2019. For more information on how to get involved or donate, click here
