Vanguard University was again recognized for its strong commitment to serving military-connected students, earning a prestigious Top Ten designation in the 2026–2027 Military Friendly® Schools rankings. The university ranked No. 6 in the “Private, Not Offering Doctorate” category and secured a Top Ten designation (No. 6) for Military Spouse Friendly® Schools in the same category.
This national recognition highlights Vanguard’s continued dedication to creating a supportive environment for veterans, active-duty service members, and their families. Through its Office of Veterans Services and Veteran Resource Center, the university provides personalized support, peer mentorship, and access to educational benefits that help military-connected students thrive academically and personally.

“This distinction recognizes our growth in services and our students’ outcomes,” said Christopher Carroll, Marine Corps veteran and assistant director of Veteran Services and Student Support at Vanguard University. “Vanguard is able to guide students to their degrees successfully with minimal debt, both metrics used in the ranking.”
