We're excited to welcome all of our new students to the Vanguard community at Welcome Week 2008! In August, you'll get to see what “Vanguard de-fined” is all about and what God is up to at VUSC. We are honored that you have chosen to be a part of our community during this momentous time in your life!
Welcome Week 2008, August 23rd-26th is guaranteed to assist in your adjustment to college life, making your transition into the Vanguard community successful. You will be participating in activities and hearing dynamic messages that will encourage you to seriously consider the amazing opportunities VUSC offers for academic success, leadership development, fun, ministry and personal & spiritual growth. Please look at the schedule of events to view the opportunities that await you. Note that there are a few activities that may require advance registration and payment.
Who? Whether you are a commuter or living on-campus, you must register between 8:00 a.m. – Noon on Saturday, August 23rd on the lawn in front of the Heath Academic Center. If you are living on campus, you will be moving into your residence hall as soon as your registration is complete. To avoid crowding, we request that students arrive according to the first initial of their last name:
A-L 8:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. M-Z 10:00 a.m. - Noon
This will provide you with ample time to move into your room before the Welcome Week activities begin.
