The Veterans Club will be helping students move into their dorms and from from 4-8pm they will help during the Root Beer Mugging – Serving Root Beer floats for people attending the family picnic.

Open House | Veterans Courtyard of Honor
The open house provides a way for student veterans, community leaders, and the Vanguard community to network, tour of the Veterans Resource Center and learn different ways you can get involved. New, current, and former veterans will be present. Refreshments will be served.

“How the soldier of today is becoming a leader for tomorrow”
This year marks the 12th anniversary of 9/11 Patriot Day. Let’s commemorate that together! The Vanguard Veterans Club will host a time of reflection, prayer, and refreshments from 3-6PM in the Veterans Resource Center and Courtyard (Scott Academic Center). There is no set program. Just meet a Veteran, and come at your leisure.

OC Stand Down
The Orange County Stand Down is a 3-day event. The event assists in helping homeless and at-risk veterans as well as their families. OC Stand Down also provides a place for homeless to sleep for the weekend. Community social services and government agencies will be present over the course of the weekend.

One Step Mentorship – Guitar Group | Veterans Resource Center

The Guitar group is a chance for people to learn how to play the guitar. It is not mandatory, but preferable, to bring a guitar. Food is provided.
