Mission
The mission of the University Relations office is to be part of the local community through establishing scholarships for area programs and high schools, involving community leaders in supporting the mission of Vanguard, and being a service to those interested in helping promote the University.
- Economic Summit: Vanguard University is proud to announce its title sponsorship of the Santa Ana Chamber of Commerce’s 2006 Economic Summit. The Summit will be held on Tuesday, October 19 at 11:30 a.m. at the Atrium Hotel in Irvine. The summit is designed to give local business, education, and government leaders the latest updates of economic indicators and forecasts that have the potential to impact Santa Ana in particular and the Orange County area in general in coming years.
Ethics in America: Vanguard University of Southern California presents the 2008 Ethics in America Awards program at The Grove of Anaheim, in cooperation with the program’s founder, Passkey’s Foundation. This premier Orange County event will present the American Heritage Award of Ethical Distinction to one of America’s extraordinary citizens, Dennis Prager. Recent honorees include Emmy award winning performer and philanthropist Art Linkletter and John Wooden. This event is part of Vanguard's commitment to ethics and 10% of sponsorships goes toward the PLC Scholarship Fund.
- Professional Leadership Circle (PLC): A membership organization that brings business, education, and community leaders together for the mutual benefit of the university, business, and community. more...
- Executive Leadership Golf Tournament: This annual event raises funds for Vanguard scholarships, assisting those students who might not otherwise come to VU without university aid. The tournament includes a luncheon honoring local individuals and businesses for their contributions to Vanguard University and the local community.
- Executive Roundtables: These roundtables give executives access to Vanguard University staff and faculty in a casual setting. These discussions range in topic from business ethics to characteristics of leadership in today's marketplace.
- Christmas Fantasia: An annual event co-supported by University Relations, Christmas Fantasia features classic holiday music as performed by Vanguard's musical ensembles. Sponsorship opportunities are available.
