Since its founding in 1920, Vanguard University has understood itself within the context of the church of Jesus Christ, in both its local and universal expressions. The office of Church Relations exists to serve pastors, youth pastors, and congregations who have students attending VU or who support the mission of the university. Vanguard partners with churches in several ways:

  • The Vanguard Churches Program: A program that allows churches to give monthly to Vanguard, while setting up scholarships for their students. more...
  • The Dick and Elnora Dresselhaus Endowed Preaching Chair: Supports those entering pastoral ministries who are working toward their degree at VU. more...
  • Speakers: We love to help connect local churches or ministry groups with an appropriate speaker from our outstanding faculty. Please contact the Director of Church Relations for more info.

Questions about Church Relations? Contact Gary Archer, Director of Church Relations at garcher@vanguard.edu or 714.556.3610 ext. 2001. We would love to talk with you about how to support your high school students who are interested in attending Vanguard.
