Vanguard University’s Center for Women’s Studies (CWS) will present a conference entitled Justice in Action on March 5-6, 2010. The event will take place on the VU campus in Costa Mesa, California.
The Lewis Wilson Institute for Pentecostal Studies will host its first annual Pentecostal Leaders Series on Thursday February 11th from 6:30 – 8:30 p.m. in Newport-Mesa Church, located on the campus of Vanguard University. The speaker, Dr. George O. Wood, will share prayer, renewal, and insights from his book Living in the Spirit.
During the month of February, Vanguard University students will have the opportunity to “Reach Higher” and learn more about VU’s graduate programs in clinical psychology, education, and religion during Graduate Programs Awareness Month (GPAM).
The news from Haiti is that of unimaginable suffering and loss in the wake of the devastating 7.0 earthquake that has leveled much of the country. Like you, I have watched the news reports and prayed, "Lord, have mercy."

Monday, January 11 is Human Trafficking Awareness Day and Vanguard University’s Center for Women’s Studies (CWS) has some events planned for the Vanguard and Orange County communities to raise awareness of modern day slavery.
