Andrew earned his Ed.D. in Institutional Management from Pepperdine University’s Graduate School of Education and Psychology; his M.S. in Clinical Psychology from Vanguard University; his M.A. in Leadership Studies and B.A. in Cross Cultural Studies from Southern California College. Kristi Starkey, MS, LMFT

Kristi is responsible for initiating, developing, managing, and nurturing strategic relations between the School for Graduate and Professional Studies and community organizations and associations for the express purpose of obtaining new SGPS students and developing opportunities for on-site cohorts. Kristi completed her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and her Master of Science in Clinical Psychology, both from Vanguard University.Kristi is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. Justin Moschina

Director of Student Services
Justin oversees the student services coordinators, the Veterans Center, and works closely with student issues to ensure student retention. Justin is also the Chair of the Admissions Committee as well as the Student Advisory Board. Justin received his BA in Business – Organizational Management through Vanguard University’s Professional Studies program and is currently enrolled in the Masters of Executive Leadership at USC. He brings to the team, seven years of management experience from several service-driven industries. Mia Grajeda

Admissions Counselor
Mia tracks and follows up with prospective Professional Studies students through the application process and is responsible for student recruitment at college fairs and corporate events. Mia also interviews and guides students through the steps necessary to starting the Professional Studies program by performing comprehensive education counseling and providing transcript evaluations. Amanda Rippee

Admissions Counselor
Amanda serves as the admissions counselor to the Early Childhood Education students who are seeking Student-At-Large courses or interested in the Certificate program. She also assists the Professional Studies admissions team with events and recruiting. Amanda graduated from Simpson University, a small private Christian college located in northern California. Matt Nixon

Matt is originally from Palmdale, CA. He graduated from California State University Bakersfield in 2012 with a B.A. in Communication with an emphasis in Public Relations. While in school, Matt was able to join the high school staff at his church as a worship leader and mentor. Experience in youth ministry has given Matt a passion for high school students and he looks forward to introducing them to the great things VU has to offer! Matt’s greatest desire is to see students thrive in their walk with the Lord. Tiffany serves as the counselor and academic advisor for our Professional Studies Business degree students. Tiffany earned a BA in Business Administration from California State University, Fullerton. She also holds a Master of Arts in Education with a Counseling option from California State University, Dominguez Hills. In addition to her experience in higher education, Tiffany brings to the team thirteen years of experience in the field of Human Resources Management. Annette Metten

Psychology/Online Student Services Coordinator
Annette serves as an counselor and academic advisor for the Professional Studies Psychology students. She also interviews and advises visiting students in Professional Studies through the Student at Large program. Annette is also responsible for assisting students with their online classes though Professional Studies. Annette graduated with high honors from Chapman University with her BA in psychology. Religion Student Services Coordinator and Student IntegrationInna Link, MS
Inna serves as the advisor for the students in the Religion program. She advises incoming and continuing students on course registration and academic degree progress. Inna also supports traditional undergraduate students with cross-registration in the Professional Studies courses and develops special services to enhance student integration at Vanguard University. Inna has prior experience serving undergraduate, graduate, and international student populations at two public higher education institutions. She is passionate about empowering students and developing new programs to promote student success. Terri brings her passion to come along side and guide those who’ve made a decision to commit themselves to start and finish their educational degree. Terri intimately knows the challenge of working, balancing home life and finishing her degree, as she is a graduate of Vanguard’s Professional Studies. She finished her Business degree with an emphasis in Organizational Management in 2006. She understands the value of a degree as she has an extensive career history in both business and academic administration. Paris joined Vanguard University in May of 2012 and comes to Vanguard with paralegal experience. She is not new to Vanguard, however; she earned her BA in Business from Southern California College, the prior name of our school. Paris is excited to be giving back to her alma mater by assisting the nursing students in her role as Student Services Coordinator. She is passionate about lifelong learning, both personally and professionally. Wendy White

Wendy is a native southern Californian. She was born in Laguna Beach, raised in the same home her parents still reside, and graduated from Laguna Beach High School. She continued her education at Westmont College, earning a BS in Business/Economics and graduating Cum Laude. Wendy and her husband of more than 25 years, along with their 2 sons, have lived in Aliso Viejo since 1988. Being grateful for 17 years as a stay-at-home Mom and open to the Lord’s prompting a new adventure, she joined the Vanguard family in 2011. Graduate and Professional Studies Data Coordinator
Anne serves as the Data Coordinator for the School for Graduate and Professional Studies. She manages all data processing for prospective students interested in the Graduate and Professional Studies programs, and she also provides various data support for the admissions and student services team. She has prior experience working in educational research and providing data and technical support for a non-profit organization in Orange County. Anne graduated from UCLA with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and is working towards continuing her education for the pursuit of Master’s degree.
