As Dean of Vanguard University’s School for Graduate and Professional Studies, Andrew drives the growth of high-quality, mission-focused, market-responsive programs in organizational management, ministry and leadership, human development, nursing, early childhood education, clinical psychology, education, theological studies, and leadership studies.

Prior to his return to Vanguard, Andrew founded and directed the Organizational Psychology program for Concordia University Irvine, overseeing Southern California’s only Bachelor of Science Degree in Organizational Psychology specifically designed for working professionals.
Before joining Concordia, Andrew was Acting Dean of Academic Affairs for the Southern California campuses of the Chicago School of Professional Psychology, the nation’s oldest and largest regionally accredited graduate school exclusively for psychology and behavioral health sciences.
During his first tenure at Vanguard University, Andrew was Managing Director of the Judkins Institute for Leadership Studies, Director of the Organizational Leadership graduate program, Associate Dean and Director of Graduate Programs for the School of Religion, and Dean of the School for Professional Studies.
He taught courses in both undergraduate and graduate programs, including Foundations of Leadership, Team Development, Conflict Management, Strategic Management, Leadership Theory, and Organizational Behavior.
Andrew earned his Ed.D. in Institutional Management from Pepperdine University’s Graduate School of Education and Psychology; his M.S. in Clinical Psychology from Vanguard University; his M.A. in Leadership Studies and B.A. in Cross Cultural Studies from Southern California College.
