Bachelor’s Degree (BA) in Early Childhood Education
Vanguard University’s Bachelors’ degree in Early Childhood Education in the School for Professional Studies offers courses that are fully online and are designed to prepare early educators for the challenges and rewards of teaching or leading in public and private early learning classrooms and centers. Students are taught by highly trained practitioners from the field that guide and challenge them to integrate faith and learning with practical tools and exercises, current researched based texts, and spiritual formation through scripture and online discussions. Upon completion of the degree students will be professionally prepared and spiritually grounded in the concepts of faith and service.

Associate’s Degree (AA) in Early Childhood Education
Vanguard University’s Associate’s degree in Early Childhood Education in the School for Professional Studies offers students the opportunity to earn their degree supported by seasoned faculty who are invested their success and spiritual formation. In the unique platform of an online learning environment students will collaborate and study researched based theory and practice in the field of Early Learning preparing them for work and service in Early Childhood Education. Classes are eight weeks long and you can take one class at a time.

The 27-Unit Certificate program is designed to equip you with a firm foundation of knowledge in the early education field. The certificate is ideal if you are looking to complete the lower division early education units necessary to transfer towards an AA or BA in Early Childhood Education. You can also complete the certificate program to meet requirements for state permit or employer requirements. Choose to complete the 27-Unit Certificate and you can also apply for financial aid!

Vanguard’s Online Early Childhood Program makes it easy to stay current and up-to-date with early education principles and practices, as well as to help you grow in your career. Take just one course to meet employer/licensing requirements, or mix and match classes you find interesting for professional growth development. All of the classes are taught from a Christian worldview and may be taken individually as a student-at-large (SAL) in any order – without transcripts or pre-requisites.
