Our Services

Maintenance: We take care of plumbing, electrical, painting, locksmith, and carpentry requests. A few examples of maintenance requests include clogged toilets, lights out, locks broken, etc.
Custodial: The Custodial Crew provides janitorial services that include cleaning all facilities on campus including classrooms, staff/faculty offices, public areas (ie: residence hall lobbies, the Cove), restrooms, etc. We have two Custodians who are designated to complete projects including power washing exterior areas on campus and deep cleaning carpets. The night shift Custodian takes care of emptying trash receptacles, re-stocking restrooms and restroom cleaning.
Grounds: Grounds takes care of landscaping, athletic field maintenance, and exterior cleaning (ie: weed control, removing disregarded debris, emptying exterior garbage cans, etc.)

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I submit a work request?

Complete and submit online the Maintenance Request Form. You will receive a work order number to reference the progress of your work request (most plumbing and other emergency requests are addressed the same day). You can also submit a work request by calling (714)966-5431 or in person at the Facility Services office (located between the Library and Technology Services).

What happens after I send a work request?

After sending in a Work Request online, you will receive a Work Request number which can be used to track the progress of your request. If you DO NOT receive a response from us, please contact us at (714)966-5431.

How do I submit a request for a laundry machine?

The Student Life department has contracted all laundry services through WEB Laundry Systems. For any laundry machine concerns, please call 1-800-DIAL WEB to place a service call.

I live on campus- How do I submit a furniture request?

We are happy to fix any broken furniture items for you if we are able, but we do not handle furniture moving or addition/removal requests through our department. For furniture requests of that type, please contact your Resident Director (RD).

How do I submit a request for a pest control concern?

For any pest control issues, please contact us with your concern. Pest control is handled by an outside company and they are on campus regularly every first and third Monday of the month.

When can I call the emergency line?

You may call the emergency line any week day, weekend or holiday after normal office hours: after 5pm and before 7am.

Emergencies may include, but are not limited to:
Power out on entire floor/entire building
Anything fire related
Overflowing toilet
Broken window
Water leaking
Pipes burst

What do I do in case of an emergency?
