Deanna Bommarito ’06 has completed her CAADAC certification and has been hired to be the Program Director at Essence Treatment Options in San Clemente.

Edward Godinez ’02 of Baldwin Park is pursuing a graduate degree in recovery ministry from Fuller Theological Seminary and is a case manager at Pacific Clinics, a mental health service. He is also a certified alcohol and drug abuse counselor and conducts trainings for churches, school, and drug treatment centers through Street Choices.
DeAnna Griffin ’01 has been accepted to and has begun the M.A. program in International Disaster Psychology at University of Denver. DeAnna reports that the program is great and that she is thinking of an emphasis in trauma dealing with human trafficking issues!
Renee Miller ’00, ’02 M.S. has completed her Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology at California Graduate Institute and is now in private practice, providing counseling services to individuals, families, couples, adolescents, and children. Renee is also Clinical Director of Addiction Treatment Center, supervising treatment center staff and providing group and individual counseling to court-referred clients.
Julie (Piskur) Sierra ’92 finished medical school at Northwestern in 2002, finished her residency in Internal Medicine June of 2005, and is now finishing a year as a Chief Resident at Evanston/Northwestern. Julie hopes to concentrate her career in immigrant health and has taken many medical trips overseas (Mexico, El Salvador, Nicaragua, and eight trips to Cuba to study their health care system). Julie has accepted a position in internal medicine at the University of New Mexico beginning this summer. (5/8/06)
