Ross Andel’s (’97 Psychology) research entitled “The application of the variability of practice hypothesis in Alzheimer’s patients” was awarded an Honorable Mention in the competition for the Association for Anthropology and Gerontology’s 1997 Margaret Clark Award. Congratulations, Ross! Ross is now employed as a Research Assistant by the UC Irvine Institute for Brain Aging and Dementia. Included among his duties is the assessment of differences in motor skills and motor learning between patients diagnosed with probable Alzheimer’s Disease and healthy older adults.
Scott Peebles (’85 Psychology) is a licensed MFCC in Irvine, CA, specializing in children, teens, and parenting. On Noveber 14, 1997, Scott shared some of his work with Vanguard students at a Psi Chi sponsored event. Scott’s current project is entitled “Protecting our children: A child abduction and molestation seminar for parents.”
Michael Venard (’87 Psychology) obtained his Ph.D. in 1993 from California School of Professional Psychology (CSPP-LA) and now works at Napa State Hospital on a Behavior Consultation Team
