Sheryl (Hall ’91) Curl is a licensed Marriage Family Therapist in charge of mental health in a local county correctional facility (the James Musick Facility of the Orange County Health Care Agency Correctional Mental Health). Sheryl has extensive experience in the field of correctional mental health, including the treatment of juveniles.
Dr. CynDee (Bloemendaal ’92) Pakyurek and her husband (a child/adolescent psychiatrist) are living in Minnesota. CynDee has passed her licensing exams and is the final stages of her licensure process. CynDee’s professional interests focus on working with and helping children with autism and ADHD.
Mark Merrick ’93 is working as Director of Project Management for Ceira Technologies, Inc., a technology consulting firm in Irvine. Jennifer is in her 10th year of teaching at Costa Mesa High School and is currently serving as Chair of the Mathematics Department. Mark and Jennifer live in Lake Forest.
Carrie (LaRue ’98) Feitl and Scott will be moving to Lansing, Michigan at the end of January. Scott will be in ministry at a church, and Carrie is exploring a research assistant position at Michigan State University.
Mary Alderson ’02 is working as Administrative Director for Human Options, in Irvine. Human Options is the same nonprofit agency that Mary worked with for her Field Practicum. (1/8/03)

Jon Pree ’94 has completed in 2002 an M.S. in Counseling program at Fresno State. Jon is working as a police officer in Visalia, CA, and is also doing some teaching in local community colleges. Jon and Marta have a two-year-old and are expecting their second child!
Debra (Gil ’94) Muniz was honored this past summer by the Orange County Human Relations Council for developing a 12-week tolerance program called “Celebrating our Differences” and was presented with a $500 check at the Newport Mesa Unified School District meeting. Debra also received a $4000 grant for a multi-cultural classroom library from the Newport Mesa School Foundation.
Breanna Archer ’02 is enjoying the MFT program at Pepperdine University, is continuing to work as a behavioral therapist for children with autism, and is getting married next June! Congratulations, Breanna!
