Ludmila Praslova

Ludmila (Link to Dr. Praslova’s CV ) is a Professor of Psychology, Accreditation Liaison Officer, and the founding Director of Educational Effectiveness and Institutional Research. She is responsible for supporting academic departments in the annual assessment of student learning and Program Review process, Core Curriculum assessment, analyzing results of campus-wide survey research, chairing the Assessment Committee, and training resident and adjunct faculty in assessment methodology. Ludmila has a significant experience in coordinating assessment activities and nurturing cooperation across academic and co-curricular units. Her areas of expertise include assessment of student learning outcomes using both standardized and locally created instruments, assessment of critical thinking and other core competencies across curriculum and across traditional and degree completion programs, and using assessment results to inform program and pedagogical development. John Kim

John is the Institutional Research Analyst. His responsibilities include collection, analysis, and distribution of information in support of institutional excellence, accountability, and for planning and decision making. John is also an adjunct professor of psychology. John received his PhD in quantitative psychology from Georgia Institute of Technology in 2011. Emily Wilson


Emily Wilson is a Student Research Assistant for Institutional Research. She is currently a senior majoring in Communication (Cinema/Digital Media) and minoring in History/Political Science. Her responsibilities include managing the website, advertising, student focus groups, satisfaction surveys, data presentation, and miscellaneous data entry and organization. Lydia Mack


Lydia Mack is a Student Research Assistant, and a Psychology major and senior at Vanguard. She helps collect and organize data for surveys and reports, and helps with any other tasks as needed for the department. Lydia enjoys traveling with her husband, Kyle, and their favorite places to visit so far are the Bahamas, Hawaii, Paris, and London, England, where they first met while on a mission trip. Katherine Ramirez


Katherine is one of our Student Research Assistants. She is responsible for ordering, coordinating, and managing end-of-term course evaluations, student satisfaction surveys, and academic proficiency tests. Her other responsibilities include communicating with representatives from each academic department, editing data reports, and other miscellaneous tasks.
