Master of Business Administration: How to Apply
Individuals interested in pursuing a graduate Business degree at Vanguard University should complete the following steps:
1) Fill out an Application: Apply online here. Or, download and complete our paper application of the Graduate Business Application and its Checklist (pdf). You may also contact the Graduate Admissions Office at gradadmissions@vanguard.edu or 877.669.8872. We encourage you to apply now. Please note that Vanguard accepts applications on a rolling basis.
2) Application Fee: An application fee of $45.00 is required. Checks may be made out to Vanguard University.
3) Test: Submit a transcript from a Miller's Analogy Test (MAT) or Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) you took within the last 5 years. (The MAT is offered monthly on Vanguard's campus; click here for MAT test dates and registration information.)
4) Statement of Purpose (1000-1500 words): On a separate sheet of paper please provide a typed explanation of your reasons, including vocational aspirations and personal sense of mission, for applying to VUSC's MBA program. Your answer should be 1000-1500 words.
5) Professional Resume: Please provide a detailed resume listing all employment, experience, education, training, etc.
6) References: Download the paper version of the Graduate Business Reference (pdf). Each applicant is required to secure two professional references as part of the application process. A separate letter should accompany each reference form.
7) Official Transcripts: Please provide official transcripts for all colleges and universities you have attended.
8) Submit Application and Supporting Documentation: The completed application form should be submitted, along with a professional resume, statement of purpose for entering the program (1000-1500 words), and all official transcripts to the Graduate Admissions Office.
