Students attend AEI Conference

History & Political Science majors Jonathan Dumas and Chris Rivera (pictured here with Dr. Darren Guerra) were invited to participate in a three-day conference in June, 2013 hosted by the American Enterprise Institute which is a leading think tank in Washington D.C.  Led by Josh Good of the Values and Capitalism Project, the conference sought to engage students on a variety of topics involving politics, faith, and economics.  They were joined by 25 faculty and 65 students from other Christian colleges from across the country.  During the conference they heard from public intellectuals such as Arthur Brooks, Charles Murray, Christina Hoff-Summers, Micheal Cromartie, Ramesh Ponnuru and many others.  It is a chance for students from Evangelical Christian colleges to hone their ability to think critically and carefully about the great issues of our day.
