History & Political Science Award Recipients

The History & Political Science Department is pleased to announce the recipients of the departmental honors at the Awards Chapel on April 25, 2013.

Colin Moore HistoryThe Phi Alpha Theta Award for theChris Jonker Political ScienceOutstanding Student in History was given to Colin Moore (left).

And the Pi Sigma Alpha Award recognizing the Outstanding Student in Political Science went to Christopher Jonker (right).

Spring Colloquium 2013

Two History & Political Science majors were selected to present their papers at the 23rd Annual Social Sciences Spring Colloquium on Monday, April 15, 2013.

2013 Colloquium 016 - 4Christopher Jonker presented the paper he 2013 Colloquium 021 - 2wrote for his Twentieth-Century Europe class titled “The Soviet Crusade Against Religion: Soviet and Russian Orthodox Relations.”  Jennifer Manning represented Political Science with the paper she wrote for her Film & Politics class titled “Elizabeth.”
