Individuals interested in pursuing a graduate degree in Clinical Psychology at Vanguard University should complete the following steps. The Master of Science in Clinical Psychology is now accepting applications for admission for fall 2017 (Standard Deadline is March 1).

Apply online here or download the paper version of the Graduate Clinical Psychology Application and the Application Checklist. If you prefer to receive one directly from the Graduate Admissions Office, you may fill out our online request form, or call the Graduate Admissions Office at (877) 669-8872. Please fill out the application for admissions and mail with all requested information below.
A non-refundable application fee of $45.00 is required. Submit credit card payment online, or checks may be made out to Vanguard University.
Download the paper version of the Graduate Psychology Reference. Each applicant is required to secure three references as part of the application process, please print the PDF version three times, one for each reference. One of your references should be from a professor with whom you took classes with in your major; another should be a professional reference; the third one should be an additional reference who can speak knowledgeably about you. Both reference form and a letter must be submitted. These should not be completed by someone who is a relative or friend. A separate letter should accompany each reference form.
Statement of Purpose (250 words)
Write a detailed statement of purpose describing reasons for pursuing graduate education in Clinical Psychology.
Autobiographical Statement (500 words)
Write a statement addressing the ways in which your life experiences have influenced and shaped you to be the person you are today.
Statement of Faith (250 words)
Write a statement which includes your personal faith development and journey and how your faith impacts your decision to apply for this program.
Provide a detailed resume or curriculum vitae listing all employment, experience, education, training, etc.
Request official transcripts from all of the colleges you have attended (including colleges you attend for prerequisite course work).
Submit Application and Supporting Documentation
The completed application form, along with all supporting documents, should be submitted to the Graduate and Nursing Admissions Office.
- January 15 – Early Action Application Deadline
- Students who submit their entire application prior to January 15 receive a priority interview date.
- March 1 – Standard Application Deadline
- Students who submit their entire application prior to March 1 are notified of the Program’s decision by April 15.
- Students applying after March 1 are evaluated on a space available basis.
