Individuals interested in pursuing a graduate degree in Clinical Psychology at Vanguard University should complete the following steps. The Master of Science in Clinical Psychology now accepting applications for admission for the spring and fall 2015 semesters. Students are urged to submit their application and all supporting documents prior to November 1 to start in January 2015 or February 1 to start in August 2015.

Please fill out the application for admissions and mail with all requested information below.
A non-refundable application fee of $45.00 is required. Submit credit card payment online, or checks may be made out to Vanguard University.

Download the paper version of the Graduate Psychology Reference. Each applicant is required to secure three references as part of the application process, please print the PDF version three times, one for each reference. One of your references should be from a professor with whom you took classes with in your field of study; another should be a professional reference; the third one should be a personal reference. Both reference form and a letter must be submitted. These should not be completed by someone to whom you are related. A separate letter should accompany each reference form.
Statement of Purpose (250 words)
On a separate sheet of paper write a detailed statement of purpose describing reasons for pursuing graduate education in Clinical Psychology. In this paper discuss: Professional goals and aspirations; Anticipate plans for your future as a result of earning the Master of Science degree in Clinical Psychology; The relationship between your professional goals and your Christian faith; Include any additional information concerning your preparation for graduate study.
On a separate sheet of paper please submit an autobiographical statement addressing the ways in which your life experiences have influenced and shaped you to be the person you are today. In this paper discuss: Your present values and approach to life; Ways you handle critical and/or crisis oriented situations; Your strengths and challenges and how they relate to your pursuit of the counseling profession; Your reactions to any personal counseling you have experienced, as applicable; Your spiritual development and journey; Books, authors, and mentors that have influenced you.
Statement of Faith (250 words)
On a separate sheet of paper please submit a statement of faith which includes your personal faith development and journey, how your faith impacts your decision to apply for this program, and how you see the relationship between your professional goals and your Christian faith.
Please provide a detailed resume or curriculum vitae listing all employment, experience, education, training, etc.
Please request official transcripts from all of the colleges you have attended (including colleges you attend for prerequisite course work).
Submit Application and Supporting Documentation
The completed application form, along with all supporting documents, should be submitted to the Graduate and Professional Studies Admissions Office prior to February 1 in order to receive a priority interview date, or prior to March 1, the application deadline for the fall semester. Students applying after the deadline are evaluated on a space available basis.
Students who submit their entire application prior to the Application Deadline on March 1 are notified of the Program’s decision by May 1.
