Randee Loya and Michelle Romo just returned from the Credential Counselors and Analysts of California’s annual conference in Sacramento. They attended a variety of sessions related to California teaching credential requirements, TPA, Title II reporting, English Language Learners, accreditation and the new Common Core Standards.
Dr. Sylvia Kane presented the results of her Faculty Diversity Research from academic year 2011-2012. Dr. Kane shared her work on the Santa Ana Field Experience Project in which she led a field experience project in Santa Ana with her Grad Ed students. This project was funded by the 2011-2012 Faculty Diversity Research Fund.
