Andrew Stenhouse is the Associate Dean and Director of Graduate Programs for Vanguard University's School of Religion. He teaches Leadership and Pastoral Counseling courses in both undergraduate and graduate programs.
He earned his Doctor of Education from Pepperdine University's Graduate School of Education and Psychology. His M.S. in Clinical Psychology is fromVanguard University, where he also received his B.A. and M.A. in Religion. His passions are leadership as a calling and adults in transition.
Ordained with the United Evangelical Churches, he has been a contributing author for Focus on the Family, a mental wellness counselor for the Orange County Rescue Mission, and is currently a counselor for Journeys Counseling Ministry.
Andrew is a professional educator for the American Association of Pastoral Counselors, and holds memberships with the American Psychological Association; the Christian Association for Psychological Studies; the American Counseling Association; and the National Career Development Association. He is also a member of the International Leadership Association, Leader to Leader Institute (formerly the Drucker Foundation), and the Academy for Religious Leadership.
Through his teaching, writing, and counseling, Andrew Stenhouse compassionately assists those who are managing life's transitions. As a licensed minister for nearly twenty five years, he has gone through his own share of transitions. Drawing on more than just expertise, Andrew draws from the depth of his experience and is committed to walking alongside others on their journey toward hope-filled discovery & restoration.
He lives in Orange County,California with his wife and their three teenage daughters.
