Global Literatures & Christianity Conference

Each year, the English department sponsors a campus-wide, undergraduate conference celebrating literature and creative writing by Vanguard students:  Undergraduate Global Literatures & Christianity Conference.

Students agree upon a theme for the conference and propose their own panel sessions to present original research.  Interdisciplinary papers integrating Christian faith and any aspect of literature or creative writing are welcome.  Original creative works are performed at the Synecdoche Literary Celebration. The conference is made possible through the collaboration of Sigma Tau Delta, Synecdoche: VU Literary Journal, and the Senior English Capstone Seminar.
