Business Chapel

Faith in the Workplace or “Business Chapel” is a chapel series designed by the students for the students.  To learn more about business chapel or to get involved with the planning committee click here.


Enactus (formerly known as SIFE) is a campus club that focuses on community outreach projects that are completely student organized, using the business skills that students learn in the classroom in a hands-on way.  To learn more about what Enactus is and how to get involved click here.

Study Abroad

Vanguard University endeavors to provide out-of-country study abroad opportunities for students as they pursue their academic degree programs. Each student participant is responsible for ensuring that academic credit earned for out-of-country or off-campus programs applies to his or her degree program. Vanguard European Study Program Abroad

Vanguard European Study Program Abroad visits businesses, museums and national treasures in eight European countries. This program focuses on academics in the European setting. Regular courses and class schedules, along with assignments, readings and papers, are conducted throughout the course of the traditional sixteen-week semester, but modified for a more participative approach. Want to find a job on campus or in the surrounding area?  Lions Link makes it easy to find a job you’ll love.  Lions Link is a place where Vanguard faculty and other businesses post job listings daily.  Job opportunities can range from the Vanguard Mail room, babysitting gigs, to professional administrative jobs in the field and industry of your choice. Looking to be a leader? Frontline is one of the best opportunities for leadership here at VUSC. Frontline student directors, crew leaders and group leaders have the chance to give new students their first impressions of the VUSC community as well as develop their personal leadership skills.

The Student Government Association (SGA) exists to provide a more spiritually, intellectually, and socially enriching environment, as well as provide a medium for an organized student voice. Get involved.

Global Outreach

Vanguard University has a long history of training, sending, and supporting missionaries, and our short-term mission program is an integral part of that rich heritage. Far more than a two or three week experience, our mission program has long-term transformation at its core, transformation both for our students and for the people and communities they serve around the world. City Serve

City Serve is an event started in 2004 which links Vanguard to the rest of our community, including schools, Police Department, City Hall, and local churches through acts of service. Find out more about City Serve and other local outreach opportunities.

Music Ensembles

From choir to orchestra and specialized ensembles, there is a place for you. The music ensembles represent almost all of the forty academic majors offered at Vanguard University, with more than half of the members being non-music majors as they  perform locally at churches, schools, and conferences,


Forensic competition allows for the building of relationships and friendships with other students from campuses literally across the country; for developing critical thinking skills as well as confidence in performing in public. However, the most important function of our team is our ability to be the “salt and light” in a secular world by living our individual testimony at each and every competition. Learn more.
