VUSC Program Center hosts Free Champions of Character Coach's Clinic

Vanguard University invites you to be a part of a super-charged morning, coming soon this September!  Professionally challenging and personally engaging, the Vanguard University Champions of Character Program Center will be hosting the program's first ever Coach's Clinic with much more than strategies of the game to be the featured focus.  Instead, aimed at a more long-term effect of athletics, the clinic program will be focused on teaching coaches how to make an impact that could, over time, change the entire culture of sport.

Note: The fee for this event, including the cost of all materials and lunch, is now being provided to all participants FREE OF CHARGE as result of the gererous underwriting and support of the following sponsors:  New Balance, Passkeys, si3d, and the Vanguard University Athletic Department.

Join Bruce Brown and the Vanguard University Champions of Character Program Center staff for a morning of inspiration, education, tools, and take-home resources to develop or expand your coaching for character skills with the student athletes you influence and lead.

The Core Values

The NAIA Character Initiative has been established to advocate for character, to defend the principles of character, to support the cause of character and to be a winner through good character.

A Champions of Character reflects these 5 Core values: Respect, Responsibility, Integrity, Servant Leadership, and Sportsmanship.

The Program Center

The Vanguard University Champions of Character Program Center provides instruction and materials to equip career and volunteer coaches to understand and model the 5 Core Values of Character in Sports.

We strive to promote and incorporate these core character values within the daily youth activities in the greater Orange County community in which we serve.
