In Loving Memory of Dr. Craig Rusch

Dr. Craig Rusch, an alumnus and a former professor, died on February 1, 2012.  On a business trip, Craig suffered respiratory distress and passed away from heart failure.   Craig was a loving father to current Vanguard student, Candice Rusch, and former Vanguard student, Eric Rusch.  Craig was also a beloved teacher, dear friend and respected colleague to many.

A service of prayer will be held on Friday, February 3rd at 2:00 pm in the Great Commission Hall on the campus of Vanguard University.

Condolences may be sent to the Department of Anthropology/Sociology in care of Cheryl Jensen.

    I am shocked and saddened to read of Craig’s passing. He was a friend and inspiration while I was working at VU! My prayers for her family.

    I cannot beleive i Just heard about this. I veiwed him as SUCH an inspiration. He was a survivor and had so much to offer the world. I am deeply saddened to hear about this :/

    I am so sad to hear about this. Especially a year late! I was a student with Craig and Mona, had many lively, enjoyable talks in the old student union. Does anyone know how Mona is doing?
