A Message from the Provost
In 2010, Vanguard University celebrated its 90th anniversary! Today, Vanguard graduates serve in virtually every profession (education, ministry, business, missions, law, government, medicine, social services, the arts, and many more) and in many nations around the globe (from Haiti to China to Uganda).
Vanguard University’s purpose is to pursue knowledge, cultivate character, deepen Christian faith, and equip each student for a Spirit-empowered life of Christ-centered leadership and service.
To fulfill that purpose, Vanguard gathers a community of learners resolved to blend the pursuit of academic excellence with growth as authentic Christians. The educational experience at Vanguard, therefore, promotes the integration of faith, learning, and living.
