    Question #6

Hey guys! Here is my answer to #6..I didn't have any notes for #7, so if anyone can help out with this one, that would be great, thanks!

    #6

The procedure of empiricism involves: I made up an Acronym: OTHER (hope it helps) : )

    • Observing a phenomenon
    • Creating a Theory about the nature or cause of the phenomenon
    • Write a Hypothesis
    • Design and Perform an Experiment to test the hypoth.
    • Observe the Results and evalutate whether evidence supports or refutes the theory

This procedure is an episemic strategy and is based on philosophical assumptions:DANGERS: often ignore its philosophical underpinnnings and Interpretations are subject to BIAS.

    • (there is more here for the 'dangers' I think that I didn't have in my notes) please reply, thanks : )

    Re: Question #6

The only other Danger I have in my notes is this:

Theories can never be proven, only disproved
