The procedure of empiricism involves: I made up an Acronym: OTHER (hope it helps) : )
- Observing a phenomenon
- Creating a Theory about the nature or cause of the phenomenon
- Write a Hypothesis
- Design and Perform an Experiment to test the hypoth.
- Observe the Results and evalutate whether evidence supports or refutes the theory
This procedure is an episemic strategy and is based on philosophical assumptions:DANGERS: often ignore its philosophical underpinnnings and Interpretations are subject to BIAS.
