    Synecdoche Selections!

    Hey Everyone,

I just wanted to drop you a quick note to remind you that you will need to have selected a piece from Synecdoche for your textual analysis prior to class on Monday.  If you are having problems choosing a suitable work for analysis, please contact me via e-mail at jharrison@vanguard.edu or swing by my office any weekday between 9 and 5, and I would be glad to help you with your selection.

Also, please make sure that you are in class on Monday as we will be digging a little deeper into each of the critical methods available to you for your analysis.  Over the course of this weekend, please review the online materials that Prof. Dempster cited in previous forum posts and come to class on Monday prepared to discuss the methods outlined in these materials.

    Have an amazing weekend!

    Re: Synecdoche Selections!

    Hey Prof Harrison-

I am going to be doing  Love, Tragedy, and Conceit, by Kim Love for my paper, and I will most likely be using the Psychoanalysis method. I know that we kind of went over this in class, and that Tara had mentioned doing the same one, I hope its okay if two people wirte there papers on the same idea.

I also wanted to let you know that I unfortunately will not be in class tomorrow, I had previously signed up for my advising appointment at 11am, thinking that we wouldn't have class-- this was before we were informed we were going to have new professors...I am sorry for the inconvience.

I hope you had a great weekend! and I will see you on Wednesday.
    -Brittany
