Graduate Admissions Values

Here's a list of the values our office is committed to keep:

HOPE
We strive to see people the way God does, so we believe that every person has value and the potential to make a difference. Furthermore, we expect that our work will contribute to the development of the next generation of leaders.

COMMUNICATION
We take initiative to communicate effectively and are determined to hear the concerns and interests of those we come in contact with.

COOPERATION
We work with those with shared interests - both at VU and on the outside - to accomplish our goals. We also enlist the help of VU community members in our work to serve as graduate program promoters.

EMPATHY
We are attentive to the hopes, needs, and interests of others, and are eager to do what we can to help see these met and realized. Because we are attentive to these things, we are able to shape effective messaging to prospective students.

ENTERPRISE
We enjoy our customers, the people we work with, and the challenges involved with getting our work done. We believe that our creativity and ingenuity increases that enjoyment and provides better service for our customers.

CARE
All people who come into our office are affirmed for who they are and are supported in their hopes and aspirations. Our interaction with prospective students reflects all the hallmarks of healthy relationship: understanding, communication, and engagement.

SERVICE
We are responsive to every visitor who comes to our office. It is our desire to show hospitality by welcoming students, staff, and faculty and then providing excellent customer service as needed.
