Welcome to the Graduate Admissions blog!
I'm so excited to post here for the first time! This will be a great place for students to come learn more about our programs, connect to the Graduate Admissions Office and each other, discover more information about graduate school in general, and I'm sure more purposes will reveal themselves as time goes on.
A brief introduction - my name is Emily Boyd and I'm the Graduate Admissions Coordinator at Vanguard. That basically means that I do everything from mailing to marketing, and in even simpler terms, I'm the first person you'll see when you come visit our office. I graduated from Westmont College in 2005 with degrees in English and Spanish, and now I'm living in Costa Mesa and working here at Vanguard. I enjoy reading, writing (hey, convenient for this blogging part of the job!), watching movies, going to the beach, attending church, and much more.
I won't always be the one posting though - there will be posts from Drake Levasheff, Graduate Admissions Director, and Calvin Kelch, Graduate Admissions Counselor. The three of us make up the Graduate Admissions Office, and we are here to help! Ask questions, learn about our programs in Religion, Clinical Psychology, Education, and Business, and take the next step today!
