What Graduates Should Know
- GradFest will be held April 8th and 9th from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Founders Bookstore Patio. This is your one-stop source for all your graduation needs. If you miss GradFest, you may make arrangements after April 10th at foundersclerk@vanguard.edu or by phone at (714) 556-3610 x4713.
- Academic Regalia for Undergraduate and Graduate students may be ordered at GradFest.
 Graduate students, rented regalia must be returned immediately following the Commencement ceremony between the purple and gold flags, in the reception area. - Rehearsal will take place May 8th, 3 p.m. at Pacific Amphitheater. Rehearsal will last approx. 2 hours.
- Baccalaureate & Commencement Instructions
- Caps & Gowns must be picked up at the Bookstore by Friday, May 8th. They must be worn at all ceremonies. (How to wear the hood).
- Attire under the gown should be fairly formal. Please do not wear jeans or shorts. It is advised that you not wear jackets or heavy clothing as the gowns absorb a lot of heat in direct sunlight. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes as you will be doing a lot of walking, going up and down steps/ramps, and standing. Given the occasion, however, do not wear athletic shoes or casual flip-flops.
- Class Rings can be ordered online at www.jostens.com or from the Jostens representative at the Bookstore during the first week of April.
- Invites / Announcements may be ordered starting the first week of March at www.jostens.com. It usually takes about 2 weeks from the time of order to receive your announcements.
- Frames can be ordered at the bookstore website, which can be found at www.vanguardbooks.net.
- Photographs will be take at the graduation ceremony by Bob Knight Photo. You may order online at www.bobknightphoto.com
