Markita Roberson is a native of New York city, born and raised in Southeast Queens. She relocated to Southern California in 1995 to attend Vanguard University where she has done both her undergraduate and graduate work in Biblical Studies. She is currently the Coordinator of Undergraduate Programs for the School of Religion as well as an adjunct faculty member of Biblical Studies here at VU. Education: B.A. (in process) pre-Med/Sociology at Vanguard University (formerly Southern California College.) Angel and her husband Rick both attended Vanguard University where Rick earned a degree in Ministry and Leadership. Angel grew up in Chile, South America as a missionary kid and speaks fluent Spanish. Her heart and passion is for missions around the World. They are currently on staff at Newport Mesa Church as Senior Associate pastors where they have been ministering for the last year. She has been married for 12 years and enjoys hanging out and traveling with their kids Jonathan, 11, and Katie, 7. Jonathan enjoys all things Star Wars and playing baseball. Katie loves animals and playing with her friends. |

Child Development, California Polytechnic State University San Luis Obispo; Multiple Subject Credential, California State University Fullerton. Diana Wahlstedt grew up in Newport Beach and currently resides in Costa Mesa. Diana attends Newport-Mesa Church and has been active in many NMC ministries, among them teaching ESL to Hmong Women in Santa Ana. Diana enjoys gardening, and various arts and crafts. She is an avid walker and enjoys nature. |
