Campus Pastor Vince Beresford


Vince Beresford has over 20 years of experience in ministry and has served as a senior pastor, worship leader and youth pastor of numerous churches in California and Missouri. He received his BA in physical education from Azusa Pacific University in 1994 and his MA in pastoral studies in 1998 from the Haggard School of Theology. Vince is currently pursuing his Doctorate of Ministry at George Fox University.

For the past three years he has been the college pastor and student ministries team leader at Yorba Linda Friends Church. Prior to that, he worked at Spring Arbor University as an associate professor of religion and philosophy, as well as serving as the school’s executive director of the Youth and Family Ministry Institute. Vince has also served as the senior pastor at the Cornerstone Community Church in Pasadena and is currently a columnist for Rev! Magazine – a publication for pastors and ministry.

Beresford enjoys sports and served as the head volleyball coach at Spring Arbor University and was the pole vault coach for Olympic bronze medalist decathlete Dave Johnson in the 1992 Olympics. Beresford resides in Yorba Linda with his wife Julia and three daughters: Brinley, Brooke and Bailey.
