Vanguard University of Southern California

Off-Campus Housing

Married students and single students 21 years of age or older will find a large number of apartment complexes near the Vanguard campus and throughout the surrounding Costa Mesa community. The Student Life Center maintains a directory of local apartments and will provide suggestions to incoming students. Rental rates vary, but tend to be relatively high because of the University's close proximity to the beaches. One-bedroom apartments rent for $975-$1600 per month, while two-bedroom apartments range from $1300-$2400 per month. Families moving into the area should allow a minimum of one month prior to attending classes to search for and secure off-campus housing.

Before making a decision to live off-campus, please consider the costs.  The following links will direct you to the on-campus housing and meal costs for the upcoming academic year, and a helpful budget worksheet to consider all expenses for on and off campus living.
