Preparing to Teach History on the Secondary Level
- Vanguard no longer offers a waiver program for prospective secondary teachers in history and the social sciences. Upon completion of the major, a student must take the CSET exam and then pursue a teaching credential and/or master's degree.
- The HPS Department recommends that those students planning a teaching career include in their major courses:
